How to create an invoice with this tool

1. Enter your business details — name, address and contact info. This appears at the top of the invoice as the sender.
2. Add your client's details under "Bill to", including their company name and billing address.
3. Set the invoice number, issue date and due date. A sequential invoice number is important for your bookkeeping.
4. Add one line per product or service, with quantity and unit price. The totals calculate automatically.
5. Add a tax rate if applicable, write your payment terms in the notes, then click Download PDF.

What should a professional invoice include?

A valid invoice generally needs a unique invoice number, the issue date, the full legal name and address of both the seller and the buyer, a clear description of the goods or services supplied, the amount due before tax, the tax rate and amount, and the total payable. Depending on your country you may also need to display a tax registration number, a payment deadline, and late-payment penalty terms. Check the rules that apply to your business before sending an invoice to a client.
